 Q

How does the exposure to simulated altitude compare with natural elevation?

 A

Altitude acclimatization is due to the amount of oxygen.

Whether you are at 9000' above sea level or in a CAT simulated altitude system, the common factor is the density of oxygen; The same number of oxygen molecules per cubic meter exists in both scenarios.
