Tony Harris
Tony received a bachelor's degree from Baker University in Physical Education & Education in 1978. In 1983 he obtained the National Certification in Athletic Training. He then earned his MS in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 1986 and opened a private practice where he remained until 1989. From 1989-92 he was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Philadelphia 76ers. Then he became the Head Athletic Trainer for the Detroit Pistons until 1995. In 1996 he was selected to US Olympic Team as PT/ATC for USA Boxing. From 1996-99 Tony was Director of Sportsmedicine for Strength Training, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. From 1999-Present, he has been involved in private business, including CEO, MedZone Corporation and MedZone VET, division of MedZone Corp.


Pat Karns
Pat Karns, MA ATC is the founder and chief executive officer of EMA.

Pat received a bachelor's degree in psychology from St. Cloud State University in 1983 and a master's degree in physical education in 1984 from Northern Colorado University, where he served as a graduate assistant trainer under Dan Libera.

Pat Karns, 45, has extensive experience in athletic healthcare, having worked with athletes in high school, collegiate, amateur and professional sports. For the past 15 years, Karns has worked with USA Hockey, providing medical coverage at a variety of United States Olympic Festivals and international hockey tournaments. Pat Karns was named to the 2002 Olympic team. Karns was selected in conjunction with the United States Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Division and USA Hockey.

His travels with hockey teams have taken him to Oslo, Norway; Göthenburg and Gåvel, Sweden; St. Petersburg, Russia; and Füssen, Germany. His first taste of professional hockey came in 1985 as program director of sports medicine for St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill., where he assisted in coverage for the International Hockey League's Peoria Rivermen.

He returned to St. Cloud State as athletic trainer from 1987-92, working primarily with the Huskies' football and ice hockey teams. In 1993, Karns became assistant athletic trainer for the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves. The Grand Rapids, Minn., native became the Head Athletic Trainer for the Denver Grizzlies of the International Hockey League in 1994 and went on to win the league Championship. He later accepted the Avalanche's Head Athletic Trainer position during their inaugural campaign in 1995. Karns was part of the Avalanche record breaking 9 divisional titles, 5 conference finals and 2 times Stanley Cup Champion (1996 & 2001).


John Joseph Kasik

John is a seasoned professional certified athletic trainer with senior management experience. He has experience coordinating professional football athletic training department and all aspects of player training, treatment, facilitation of health physicals, rehabilitation and professional league injury reporting and compliance.
