The lowest elevation in the Western Hemisphere is Death Valley at 282 feet below sea level. The additional 282 feet below sea level is probably not enough to create a significant difference in training effect. Besides, ground temperatures have been measured in Death Valley of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. A little on the warm side for good training. |
