Shaun Wallace

Shaun Wallace

In 1997, frustrated at not having the opportunity to live and train at altitude, 2-time Olympian and British professional cyclist Shaun Wallace made the world's first Altitude Tent System. This product soon became an integral part of the developing simulated altitude industry.

In 2004 Shaun brought his years of experience to CAT, and can be contacted by e-mail or phone (ext 160) with any altitude-related questions you may have.

No longer a full-time athlete, Shaun has traded his early tent system for a more advanced Colorado Mountain Room, and still competes, with great success, at the elite level.

- World 40-44 Pursuit Champion: 2002, 2004, 2005
- World 40-44 Points Race Champion: 2002, 2004, 2005

"The first night I slept in an altitude tent, I knew I would finally no longer be at such a big disadvantage to those riders who could live at altitude. With the Colorado Mountain Room system I can also enjoy a normal bedroom, just as if I was living in the hills."
